For various reasons, I prefer initial contact about a case to be by phone rather than email or regular mail.
Among other things, problems can occur if a lawyer solicits case inquiries by email and then receives confidential information in a matter in which he or she is already involved on behalf of a different party.

I answer my own phone and am generally quite easy to reach. I try to return voice mails promptly. I am always happy to talk with parties to a case or other members of the Bar. You will not be charged anything until or unless we have entered into a written fee agreement. Equally, I will not be obliged to do anything until or unless we have entered into a written fee agreement.
If calling, please be ready to tell me the names of the other parties in the case.
Once we have established contact, I use email as a preferred method of contact for many types of communications. All clients have my email address and are encouraged to use it.
